Alinea to exhibit mirrors and décor in new High Point location

Alinea will be exhibiting the spring collection of creative director Venusia Marfianty in a new location at the April High Point Bird's Nest mirrorMarket.

The Virginia-based maker of handcrafted mirrors and decorative furnishings will be showing in IHFC D430. In addition to a collection of approximately 40 mirrors, the spring collection will include tables and accent furniture, upholstered pieces, decorative accessories and wall décor, many of them hand-crafted from renewable mahogany hardwood and finished using old world techniques.

The company describes the look as bold and simple, enhanced by high gloss finishes and jewelry like gilded accents, mixing elements of European, Asian and primitive designs. The palette is "delicate and smoky, with shimmering luminance," in various and contrasting finishes.

Alinea's artistic heritage began in 2004, when Marfianty founded a small design studio and filled it with designers, woodcarvers, artisans, sculptors and decorative artists to Octagon shaped micro-beveled mirror planes are intricately crafted by master carvers from solid mahogany in this contemporary buffet.fulfill her vision of becoming a premier mirror, fine furniture and accessories manufacturer.
