Surya to celebrate new High Point showroom with kick-off party

Surya is celebrating the opening of its new High Point Market showroom with a kick-off party Sunday night, April 22, 2012, in Showplace 4100. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and will feature a live D.J., dancing, open bar and catered dinner.

The new showroom, at 26,000 square feet, is a significant expansion for the rug and accessories manufacturer. In addition to showcasing more than 500 new rugs, pillows, poufs and wall art designs, Surya will using a portion of the space to offer inspirational merchandising tips, training classes, and social media presentations for retailers.
"We want to give everyone a break from their hectic appointment schedules and a chance to just kick back and enjoy themselves; and if they get the opportunity to view our new collections and best sellers, that's icing on the cake," said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya.
Buyers are also invited to stop by the showroom at any time during the market to peruse the new collections and "enjoy a little R&R" with a hot catered breakfast and lunch served daily, and hors d'oeuvres and cocktails each evening.
