Linda Burzynski to head Decorating Den Interiors' new home accessories division

EASTON, Md. - Linda Burzynski has been named executive director of LIVV! Accessories, the new direct sales home accessories division of national franchisor Decorating Den Interiors.

"Linda is recognized in the sales industry as a top recruiter, organizer and leader," said James S. Bugg, Sr., chairman of Decorating Den Interiors. "We are confident that these traits will help LIVV! Accessories grow into being the preeminent home accessories source in the industry."

Burzynski is the founder of VL Services, a franchise consulting service. She has served as president of The Franchise CEO Network, on the board of directors of the International Franchise Association, and as chief executive of franchise company CMIT. Burzynski began her sales career with Creative Expressions, and joined Decorating Den Interiors in 1985 where she later served as senior vice president, retail and senior vice president of operations. She then accepted a position as president and chief operating officer of Molly Maid, and led the company from $10 million a year in client revenues to $86 million in five years. Burzynski is a member of the Enterprising Women Magazine Hall of Fame and a recipient of the International Franchise Association's Bonnie Levine Award, which is bestowed upon a female franchisor or franchisee who has contributed to the growth of franchising. In 2001, she was named Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for 2001 by the Minorities and Women Division of the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
