Shaw to debut new HGTV HOME rugs at High Point Market

Offerings coordinate with new HGTV HOME Furniture Collection by Bassett

DALTON, Ga. -- Shaw Living, a manufacturer of area rugs, will introduce nine woven rug styles and seven tufted styles designed to coordinate with the new HGTV HOME Furniture Collection by Bassett at the upcoming fall High Point Market.

"HGTV HOME seeks to inspire our consumers by providing them with full collections of products to guide their design transformations," said Ron Feinbaum, general manager of consumer products for HGTV. "The addition of these area rugs to our new furniture lines and existing products completes a variety of curated HGTV HOME collections to help consumers achieve their decorating vision with confidence and ease."

The new designs will be added to the HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw Collection, first introduced in 2011.

"Our team truly enjoyed the inspiration found in the collaboration of this project - the coordination of the HGTV HOME furniture and area rugs will create a unique shopping and design opportunity for the consumer," said Kim Barta, brand manager, Shaw Living. "Depending on the furniture selected and the consumer's style, there will be several options in rugs that will tie back to the furnishings beautifully in bold as well as subdued styling."

Shaw will debut nine woven rug designs with the Intrigue Collection, which draws inspiration from Mediterranean cultures in a more vibrant color palette. The collection is machine-woven of Shaw's EverTouch nylon and features an ombré dyeing technique to impart superior color shading.

"We've taken centuries-old processes and carried them out through modern technology," said Heather Yamada, marketing manager for HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw. "These new rugs, all part of the HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw line, offer deeply radiant colors that help create rooms that are full of life. We can't wait to see our dedicated customers start experimenting with these new rug options."

The Intrigue Collection features contemporary Mum, overlapping chevron and updated damask designs.

Shaw will also show seven new rugs machine-tufted with Anso nylon in the Grandeur Collection. Designs include a zig-zag pattern and an animal print inspired pattern. All Grandeur Collection designs are available in the following colors: Espresso, Honey, Chocolate Brown, Teal, Terra Cotta, Classic Tan, Taupe and Gray.
