AMS Imports to show InnerAsia's authentic Tibetan line at High Point

AMHERST, Mass. -- AMS Imports will represent InnerAsia Rugs, a Tibetan rug source, at the upcoming High Point Market, Oct. 13-18, in the Tomlinson Erwin Lambeth Directional showroom at 525 N. Wrenn St.

Founded by Kesang Tashi, InnerAsia Rugs has designed and produced handcrafted rugs from Tibet for more than 25 years. Through working in collaboration with new generations of weavers, InnerAsia has revitalized Tibet's rug weaving heritage, according to a release.

InnerAsia is recognized as the exclusive producer of Tibetan rugs from Tibet, AMS Imports stated in a release.

"Our ability to represent such a wide array of area rugs is beneficial to designers and customers because they can be assured that we have any area rug they may be looking for whether it is a handcrafted
Tibetan rug, hand-woven reversible Peruvian flat weave, or hand-woven Egyptian flat weave," said Anne Schewe, president and founder, AMS Imports. "The Tibetan rugs from InnerAsia can complement any transitional, traditional or contemporary living space."

AMS Imports will feature a variety of traditional and contemporary designs at the October High Point market including InnerAsia's textured and vibrantly colored Tibetan rugs. Among the InnerAsia offerings will be the Silk Road Collection of 100-knot wool traditional designs and several contemporary 60-knot rugs. All of InnerAsia's rugs are woven from hand-carded, hand-spun wool from Tibetan highland sheep.

These rugs are available in standard and custom sizes and colors. Some designs are available in stock and others by order. Rugs not in stock are delivered within four to five months of order.
