Alta Home, an importer, wholesaler and distributor of handcrafted Indian leather products, makes its High Point debut this October.
The company, which produces accent furniture, home accessories, rugs and small luggage pieces, will be exhibiting in Suites at Market Square. Last summer, Alta Home collaborated with Southern Accessories Today during the summer Atlanta market.
Alta Home is a multinational company with offices both in India and in the United States. The 13,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility is located in Noida, India which has in-house sampling and manufacturing capabilities for leather and leather/metal combination handicrafts.
U.S. distribution is through the company's warehouse in Miami.
"Being at both ends of the spectrum - manufacturing and wholesaling/distributing -- gives Alta Home an edge over the competition and ensures in providing better-controlled deliveries, quality and pricing to its customers," according to a press release from the company.
"The company operates both ways - keeping a wholesale inventory of our products as well custom manufacturing larger quantities of a style within a set timeframe based on buyer selections. So our clients have an option to do custom-made products - be it from our own designs which are created with utmost regard to international trends, or by asking us to work on their own designs which we handle with utmost regard to confidentiality.
"Through the High Point Market we hope to connect to a gamut of businesses - from the large volume department stores and wholesalers, to the mid-volume furniture retailers, and to the discerning and selective interior designers and boutique business owners," the release continued "This confidence to cater to all strata of businesses comes from the fact that Alta Home is a multinational company which has its own manufacturing unit in India which enables us to wholesale and distribute large volumes with the same ease as handling smaller orders, keeping a tight control on deliveries, quality and pricings.
We would love your feedback!
