Decorating Den Interiors bringing 96 buyers to High Point

EASTON, Md. Decorating Den Interiors is bringing 96 franchise owners, interior decorators and staff, from 23 states, to the October High Point Market, the company announced today.

"We may be the largest buyer group from a single company attending market," said David Haseley, vice president of merchandising. "Our design presentations are made in the customer's home or office, so it is very educational for our business owners, who are also interior decorators, to personally visit the showrooms of our suppliers. In addition, our merchandising team will put together a ‘Highlights of the Market' video to share with those that were not able to make it to High Point and as a review."

Because the group is so large, they will be visiting many showrooms in four groups. Special events have been scheduled Tuesday evening with Libby Langdon at Braxton Culler, and Wednesday evening at Taylor King. Kincaid Furniture will host the group for tours of its case-goods and upholstery furniture manufacturing facilities on Thursday.

Established in 1969, Decorating Den Interiors has franchises throughout the U.S. and Canada. While some of its franchise owners come with previous design experience or from other positions in the home furnishings industry, most come from other careers. The company provides extensive training in design, marketing, and business management, and is a leader in the use of technology for franchisee operations
