Home Accents Today Staff -- Home Accents Today, 11/7/2012 9:29:55 AM

LAS VEGAS -- Jim Grien, president of TM Capital, a leading middle market investment bank with expertise in the gift and home industry, has been added to the list of high-level speakers addressing the International Market Center's inaugural Gift & Home CEO Summit, Jan. 31-Feb. 1.

In addition to offering insights about complex strategic and financial transactions, TM Capital will provide attendees with an exclusive, advance copy of its 2013 Gift and Home Accessory Industry Spotlight Report.

On Thursday, Jan. 31, Grien and his team will address evolving "M&A" (mergers and acquisitions) trends and changes in the competitive landscape, why industry valuations have defied broad economic headwinds, growing private equity interest in gift and home décor, the long-term case for independent retailers, attractive value realization options for business owners and the ABC's of liquidity and capital raising alternatives.

"Within the gift and home décor sector, TM Capital has completed the industry's most recognized, transformative transactions for leading family and entrepreneur-owned businesses," Grien said. "We look forward to sharing our wealth of information and experience with CEO Summit attendees."

With offices in New York, Boston and Atlanta, TM Capital has completed more than 250 transactions with a combined value in excess of $13 billion and advised clients navigating a wide range of complex mergers, acquisitions, financings, restructurings and other critical strategic and financial transactions. As thought leaders in the gift and home décor space, TM Capital publishes in-depth reports covering industry dynamics, emerging sector trends, consolidation statistics, competitive positioning, macroeconomic conditions and the valuation environment.

"TM Capital has an exemplary track record, working with some of the best known brands in this industry to help their owners execute transactions to take their companies to an entirely different level of performance," said conference organizer Randy Eller, president of Eller Enterprises. "I am extremely excited to have them as the exclusive presenters at our Summit on the subject of exit strategies, mergers and acquisitions. I have known Jim Grien and his company for some time now, and we are fortunate to have a financial firm of this caliber decide to focus key people in their organization to our industry."

The conference program includes keynote addresses, panel discussions and other topical presentations, with all content geared toward CEOs, presidents and owners of gift and home businesses. Co-produced by IMC and Eller Enterprises, the event will take place during the winter 2013 Las Vegas Market. For more information or to register, visit www.giftandhomelv.com/ceosummit.
