'Sneak Peek: A Conversation Starter' looks at products and trends

Dallas Market Center will host its first bloggers' gathering, "Sneak Peek: A Conversation Starter," during the January, 2013 Total Home and Gift Market.

Sneak Peek, to take place Jan. 18 and 19, will give design and lifestyle bloggers a first look at home and gift products and trends consumers will see in stores in the coming months.

"We're thrilled to host our first bloggers' gathering during January Market," said Meredith Hite, vice president of corporate communications, Dallas Market Center. "We look forward to welcoming and inspiring design and lifestyle bloggers with exclusive showroom visits, educational and networking opportunities and the overall exciting experience of market."

The Jan. 18-19 agenda includes a private meet-and-greet with HGTV's John Gidding, showroom visits, a celebrity chef product and cooking demo by Australian chef, author and TV personality Curtis Stone, and an opportunity to attend the 24th annual ARTS Awards Gala, which recognizes home industry excellence and achievement in retailing, manufacturing, design and representation.

Registration is $125 with a portion of the proceeds going to Dwell with Dignity, a Dallas-based nonprofit group of interior designers and volunteers dedicated to creating soothing, inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty. Bloggers will receive a swag bag valued at more than $100.
