ASID anounces new website launch

WASHINGTON, D.C. - ASID today announced the launch of its new website, ASID.org, designed to engage the design community and showcase the talent and expertise of ASID members.
New features such as "Find a Designer" and "Designers Near You" highlight designer portfolios based on a user's location. Users can refine their searches by specialty and expertise, and access design research and resources such as videos, publications and checklists to help choose a designer and learn about special topics such as sustainable design, aging-in-place, design for children with special needs.
Access to the industry's leading companies, products and educational materials is also provided, through a comprehensive listing of ASID Industry Partners, speakers, and web events.
According to the organization, ASID.org's new site represents a needed overhaul to meet the challenges of today's interior design industry, where a rapidly evolving online environment plays a huge role in modern communications.
