The High Point Design Center, featuring manufacturer-owned showrooms located throughout the city of High Point, announced it will conduct a silent auction on Feb. 21 at the Unity in Design Winter Conference.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to The Sandbox, a Charlotte, N.C., charity that helps families whose children have life altering illnesses.
The silent plate auction will aim to raise $2,500 for the organization and provide a jump start to its planning for its annual prom, An Evening of Believing.
"We are so excited to be able to give back from our profession in this way and have fun at the same time. It's a win for all concerned," said Ron Bristow, chairman of the High Point Design Center events committee.
The organization is currently soliciting donations for auction items. If you would like to contribute or attend the auction, please contact Ron Bristow, auction chair, at 336-882-8911.
