Imax worldwide home has added a pair of new licensing agreements, both of which debuted at the recent Atlanta and Dallas markets.
The first partnership is with designer Iffat Khan. The collection includes high quality pillows and home accessories.
Rex Yoakley, vice president of sales for Imax, said the company is "extremely excited" about the collaboration. "Iffat not only brings style and design to the table, but a wealth of experience and industry knowledge."
Inspired by Khan's design background and global travels, the debut collection will comprise around 50 designs that combine clean modern, classic casual and timeless traditional styles with the designer's creative twist. The majority of the product introductions are down-insert accent pillows of high quality materials such as linen and silk, with handcrafted details, hand beading and heavy embroidery.
As a child, Khan grew up surrounded by the jute and rich textiles of her family's business, manufacturers of jute exports. She received her BFA from Otis College of Design and has worked with Waverly, Field Crest at Target, Ty Pennington for Sears, Ralph Lauren for Nostalgia Home Fashions, Zara Home, Classic Concepts for Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel and ZGallerie.
Imax has also entered into a licensing agreement with designer Nancy Elaine Davis. Her collection will be marketed under the brand name Ella Elaine, and include accessories and wall décor designed with reclaimed and vintage materials.
Davis's style reflects elements from years of collecting, and blends "objects of old with trends for today," according to an Imax release.
The new products will be shown in the company's Las Vegas showroom this month.
