New York - Lladró, a creator of fine porcelain art, opened a new boutique at 500 Madison Ave. in New York City in December.
The color white and curved shapes are predominant in the new store's design, which was conceived in collaboration with acclaimed Spanish designer Jaime Hayon. Lladró, which will soon celebrate its 60th anniversary, was one of the first Spanish companies to have a boutique in Manhattan, open since 1986.
According to a press release, "The decision to relocate from the brand's flagship building on 57th Street responds to the desire to move to a more privileged location at the heart of the city's luxury shopping district, surrounded by the brands that, like Lladró, set the new trends in art, fashion and design."
Lladró's home accents offerings include decorative porcelain artwork and the company's newest category, lighting.
