International Market Centers announced today that it is continuing a multi-phase, strategic expansion of its temporary gift and home décor exhibition space in Building C during the winter 2014 Las Vegas Market, which runs Jan. 26-30 at World Market Center Las Vegas.
The show will add three new themed product sections — Veranda, which spotlights outdoor and casual home furnishings on C5; Gallery, a showcase of better home textiles resources, also on C5; and Fashion, an assemblage of personal care and fashion accessories on C11.
"These three new categories of temporary exhibits are a continuation of the Las Vegas Market's overall expansion of better gift and home décor suppliers," said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. "Building C will now offer buyers access to 13 unique and distinctly themed product categories of temporary exhibitors, creating additional synergies between permanent showrooms and related temporary resources and furthering our position as the leading home furnishings and gift market in western U.S."
The launch of three new themed categories is designed to both add depth to the temporary exhibits as well as facilitate cross-category shopping, and represents a significant step toward full occupancy in Building C. Temporary exhibition space on floors C1, C5 and C11 now will be in excess of 90,000 square feet and will offer more than 325 temporary exhibitors plus an array of free networking and hospitality events during market.
Gallery on C5 will present multiple textiles categories, including designer collections, bedding ensembles and bed linens, curtains and draperies, area and accent rugs and decorative pillows. Notable temporary exhibitors in the Gallery category include Amity Home, Caitlin Wilson Textiles and Softline Home Fashions, which will debut the Make It Beautiful Collection, an extensive licensed collection of decorative fabrics, pillows and ready-made curtains developed by interior designer, author and HGTV television host Monica Pedersen.
Veranda, also launching on C5, will increase the number of resources dedicated to the outdoor lifestyle experience, spotlighting premium casual furnishings and living pieces designed by top international and domestic designers. New and noteworthy temporary exhibitors in the Veranda category include Skyline Designs and Pelican Reef.
Fashion on C11 will present a specialized collection of lifestyle merchandise and personal accessories, including both fashion accessories and personal care and wellness products. Notable resources to be featured in the Fashion category include Eyebobs, Giftcraft featuring Charlie Paige and Sweet Bubbles.
These three new categories are among 13 themed product categories presented at Las Vegas Market: Gallery, Home, Textiles, Style and Veranda on C5; Gift, Global, Gourmet, Fashion, Made, Trend, Vintage and Carry on C11. Temporary exhibits in Building C will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, through Wednesday, Jan. 29; and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30.
