Carolyn Kinder terminates execs

By Staff -- Home Accents Today, 8/1/2004

Carolyn Kinder International has terminated three top executives, who are David Voth, vice president of marketing, licensing and entertainment; Michael Toups, vice president of finance and administration; and John Blair. The St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Carolyn Kinder companies issued a letter to vendors and clients about the decision.

The letter from Kinder stated, "Neither Michael nor David is authorized to speak on behalf of, or otherwise represent, any of the Carolyn Kinder companies, or Carolyn Kinder personally."

No replacements had been named as of press time.

"We are in the process of conducting a search for the best and the brightest to assist us in achieving our vision for the company," said Kinder, president and chief executive officer. "We will continue our focus on the creation of unique home furnishings designs and on expanding our family of licensed programs within the accessory, lighting, decorative accents and furniture industries."
