ART signs container shipping deal

A container shipping deal signed between the Accessories Resource Team and UTi Worldwide will allow its members to enjoy volume cost advantages with no volume commitments.

UTi Worldwide will ensure all applicable laws are followed, and ART members will be covered under an ocean freight tariff written specifically for the group by UTi.

The top advantage to the deal, said Sharon Davis, executive director, is that there is no contract or minimum business required from any ART member company. "Our members can enjoy volume cost advantages without any obligation to a contract or volume commitments," Davis said.
