Zak Designs to open office in Toronto

By Staff -- Home Accents Today, 8/1/2004

Zak Designs will expand its global business by opening an office in the greater Toronto area in May.

"This move will reinforce Zak Designs' dedication to the Canadian market, and our partners in retail and licensing," said Rick Brinkman, vice president of sales, Zak Designs U.S.

Joseph Muscat recently joined the Zak Designs team as vice president of sales and marketing for the Canadian Division. He brings years of experience in sales, licensing, trend, fashion and designs and formerly worked for Bandai, WestPoint Stevens and The Cambridge Towel Corporation.

All of Zak's core product categories — including tabletop and seasonal tabletop — will be available through the Toronto office, which will be supported by a warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario.

Zak's headquarters continue to be in Spokane, Wash., with other U.S. sales offices in Georgia, Minnesota, New York and New Jersey.
