Murray Feiss on growth track

Staff -- Home Accents Today, 11/1/2004

Murray Feiss will open its first Western distribution facility during the first quarter of 2005.

The 210,000-sq.-ft. center in Las Vegas will be patterned after its New York distribution center, which has allowed the New York-based company to turn customer orders around in 48 hours or less since it opened in May 2002.

Founded more than 50 years ago, the lighting and home accents manufacturer continues to expand its lines and product assortment. To display those products, a more than 5,000-sq.-ft. lighting showroom has been added to its Bronx headquarters.

Murray Feiss also continues its manufacturing growth with a third site in southern China, which includes a 17-building factory complex and dormitory accommodations for 2,000 additional employees.
