The Charles Sadek Import Company has merged its Andrea by Sadek and j. willfred divisions into a single entity for purposes of ordering, warehousing, shipping and invoicing. The two divisions will still retain their identities, names and specialized product.
"What this means for the retailer is that our company's entire product line is now available with one order, one set of minimums, from one shipping warehouse," said Adam Schrier, director of sales and marketing.
Beginning immediately, all Andrea by Sadek and j. willfred customers will receive shipments from the fully automated and enhanced New Rochelle warehouse. Products will be packed, shipped and invoiced together.
The benefits of this consolidated operation include simplified ordering for customers, decreased shipping costs and lower breakage rates, as the entire line now offers significantly improved packaging.
