Janelle Lampp licenses brand

Janelle Lampp, a consultant to the rug and home textile industries for 18 years, launched her own brand — JANELLEStyle — earlier this year, and new designs were introduced for three licensees at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. last month.

Lampp's creations are fueled by her experience in sourcing, design, product development, art direction and marketing.

The first licensee to sign Lampp was Colonial Mills, Inc., quickly followed by Jaipur Rugs and Homefires.

Colonial Mills' Simply Home collection embraces Lampp's playful style with unique braided rugs. In the collection are six patterns: Boardwalk, Rally, Frame It, Line Dance, Pinstripe Border and Hopscotch. All are made from 100% polypropylene and can be custom colored from a bank of 23 shades.

Jaipur Rugs is expanding its Transitions Collection to include Bookstacks, hand-knotted of 100% wool and offered in standard sizes of 5×8, 8×11 and 3×8 runner. It can be custom colored from a palette of 125 shades and custom sized up to 22×36. Suggested retail for a 5×8 is $895.
