Cypress Point Home to debut at winter shows

Industry veterans Rhett and Barbara Sypher are launching a new company this month with the debut of Cypress Point Home, a line of hand-crafted decorative lamps, accessories and accent furnishings.

More than 200 designs will debut in the Cypress Point line in Dallas at 10000 World Trade Center in the Bill Ferber & Associates showroom, and the company also is showing in the Atlanta temporaries.

The Syphers were the founders and former owners of Shoal Creek Lighting and have been responsible for product design, sales, sales management, marketing and customer service for Richmond Lighting/JB Hirsch for nearly a decade.

"We think that not only will the Cypress Point line stand out for our customers in its style, design, and manufacture, but some of our procedures will show the difference in this company, as well," said Rhett Sypher, CEO. "For instance, we won't have a typical customer service department and don't even use that word. Rather we call it the 'customer assurance' department and our customers will notice the difference on the very first order that they receive from Cypress Point."
