Sketchbook: Refined Classics
Kara Cox -- Home Accents Today, 1/1/2005
Heavy on tradition with hints of Deco style, refined classics find their comfort zone in warm, mellowed style with dark tonal wood and metallic embellishments. Masculine in nature, this look spotlights muted earth tones and dark wood finishes. Detailed by texture and pattern, tweed and herringbone contrast against supple leathers while Deco shapes add retro appeal to lighting. Tradition continues, but this time it does so with an extremely cultured bent.
