Antiques Roadshow licenses Momeni

Rug manufacturer Momeni has finalized a licensing agreement with the television series Antiques Roadshow to offer rugs inspired by the series' archives, antiques culled from trips and family heirlooms from the Momeni library.
Momeni will debut its Antiques Roadshow Estate collection at the April International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the rugs will help support public television.
Based on antiques, real people and their stories, the rug designs will work in tandem with the pieces offered by various other companies involved in the Antiques Roadshow partnership.
Reza Momeni, president of Momeni, expressed pride to "be included among such a prestigious group of companies as Pulaski Furniture, Dale Tiffany and Southern Furniture. We feel our contribution will round out the offerings made by the other partners and will present the customer with a complete package of home accents."
Momeni's philosophy throughout its 30 years in the industry has been to never forget the rich history its rugs are based on and to use it for all current collections. "Antiques Roadshow and Momeni seems like a natural partnership because everything Momeni offers, in this collection and our own, is pulled from the vast history that antique rugs have," Momeni said. "Even in our most contemporary collections you will find elements of the past, whether in color palettes, design motifs or construction. All things present are linked somehow to the past."
