Edwin Solomon, chairman & CEO of Sea Gull Lighting, died suddenly last Tuesday.

Solomon joined the family owned and operated company in 1946 along with his brother-in-law, Martin Hirsch, and succeeded his father-in-law, Henry S. Siegel, leading the company for 52 years.

A recognized leader in the lighting industry and business community, Solomon’s legacy was his ability to combine leadership with a personal touch and caring spirit.
