Dallas announces 2006 market dates

Staff -- Home Accents Today, 6/1/2005

The Dallas Market Center announced its market dates for 2006.

The January Super Market, which includes holiday and lighting, will be Jan. 18–25, with the International Lighting & Accessories Show opening Jan. 19. The temps will open Jan. 20. Super Market will end Jan. 25.

The summer show will be June 21–28, with Lighting opening a day later and the temps opening two days later.

New is the January launch of F!NDS, the new temporaries show produced by DMC. Also, Dallas will again host overlapping March markets, opening apparel and accessories as well as gift and home decor showrooms to give buyers more crossover opportunities in an efficient marketplace.

"We continually strive to offer buyers superior product and variety in the most efficient marketplace in the world," said Bill Winsor, Dallas Market Center president and CEO. "Our new F!NDS Temp Show, the new Mexico Pavilion and increasing resources offer buyers even more reasons to shop Dallas."
