Industry trend leader Lyn McNeil, formerly with Marshall Field's, and Charles Granneman were added to the John-Richard management team as part of a decision to re-engineer the company for future growth.
Coming aboard as vice president of finance and administration, Granneman most recently was executive vice president and CFO of Pierce Biotechnology in Rockford, Ill. Val Jessop, who currently holds that position, will become financial controller.
McNeil has been senior trend director for Marshall Field's and previously held a similar position with Target (when Marshall Field's was a part of that organization). Earlier in her career, McNeil worked for Top 100 Furniture Store Gabberts, where she managed the accessory program.
According to John-Richard president Alan Galbraith, "We are delighted to have Lyn join our team. She brings a new perspective with her exceptional background in the high-end decorative home accessories marketplace."
As vice president of design, McNeil will be responsible for development and execution of a product plan to ensure design quality, look and image across all company product lines. Greenwood, Miss.-based John-Richard's product lines includes wall art, furniture, lamps and lighting, soft goods, botanicals and a separate lamp and lighting line named Alexander John.
Heading the customer service department will be Vonciel McCarty, who previously was quality manager for La-Z-Boy in Newton, Miss. Also joining the company will be Jeff Hamilton as production manager. Initially, he will be responsible for the lighting division, but will assume responsibilities for other divisions. Formerly, Hamilton was with Heat-craft in Grenada, Miss.
