OneCoast, a national sales representative group, will hold a series of seminars and store consultation giveaways during the summer market cycle.
"We are always looking for ways to provide information to our retail customers to help them grow sales and profits, because it's a critical part of our job," said Ted Teele, CEO of OneCoast. "We believe our summer market programs, which focus on topics retailers tell us are important, will give them both the tools and the inspiration to take their sales to new heights."
OneCoast's programs are designed to provide education on current trends, best practices, and new products. The two seminars are Trends 2006 by Paul Thompson, OneCoast vice president of visual merchandising and trends, and Making the Web Work for You by Mary Liz Curtin, frequent industry speaker and writer.
The programs will be presented at Atlanta, Chicago and New York. In Atlanta, Curtin will speak at 8:30 a.m. July 15 and 16, while Thompson will present at 8:30 a.m. July 17. In Chicago, Thompson will speak at 8:30 a.m. July 23, and Curtin will speak at 8:30 a.m. July 24. New York presentations will be Aug. 14 and 15 at 8 a.m. All presentations will be in OneCoast's showrooms. The two also will speak at Seattle, Denver and Boston gift shows later in the summer.
In addition, OneCoast will expand its Store Consultation Giveaways at this summer's markets. OneCoast awarded one Store Consultation in its January Atlanta market. OneCoast will award a total of 10 consultations this summer. The program sends a member of the OneCoast Merchandising Team to a retailer's store for a full day, free consultation on how to cost effectively improve that store's displays, product merchandising and additional ways to grow store sales.
"Retailers tell us that they frequently travel to showrooms to gain ideas on how they might better merchandise their stores," said Teele. "We are fortunate that, we have a sizable team of skilled merchandising veterans who can visit our retailers' stores to help them affordably improve their displays and grow their sales."
