Primex debuts accessories

International sourcing agency Primex debuted an extensive line of ceramics, leather accessories and accent furniture at the October furniture market.
The company has sourced many of these types of products for years, but this is the first time they are being made available to retailers at a furniture market.
The ceramics are made in various South American countries for the most part, but German pieces also are represented. More than 100 SKUs are available, with retail price points ranging from about $10 to $40.
Argentina is the source for the leather products, which include desktop pieces, wine and cocktail accessories, wastebaskets and serving trays. There is also a line of natural hide rugs. The company also is showing leather upholstery for the first time.
Vasso Unks, marketing director, said the additions were a natural extension for the company. Primex has long been active in the High Point market with its furniture lines, but has sourced many of these other product categories on a private-label basis or through different markets, including the New York tabletop show.
The company is targeting furnishings chains with the new releases.
Leather desk accessories and ceramics in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors highlight Primex's new accessory line.
