Messe Frankfurt has named David Audrain its new president, effective at year end.
Audrain is currently COO/EVP of ConvExx in Las Vegas. He has previously held senior management positions with Miller Freeman, Hanley-Wood and Advanstar. Messe Frankfurt, Inc. is a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt Exhibitions GmbH based in Frankfurt, Germany. The Messe Frankfurt Group hosts more than 100 events in 16 countries.
Audrain will succeed Roland Bleinroth, who is leaving the company. Bleinroth has been president of Messe Frankfurt for 10 years. He will join the board of management of Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany in January 2006.
Audrain will begin his new position at the end of November.
