International Interiors moves to Javits Center

Staff -- Home Accents Today, 1/1/2006

International Interiors New York, a new show for fine furnishings and interior design products, will relocate from New York City's Passenger Ship Terminal Piers to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center North Pavilion, for its May 2006 launch. This new location positions the show directly adjacent to the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. The two events will run as part of New York Design Week, and will attract more than 20,000 attendees.

While IINY and ICFF will maintain their unique identities and branding, the location will allow the two shows to complement each other, providing trade professionals with expanded resources across all aspects of the international interior design industry. Both shows will honor each other's badges.

"The launch of IINY represents an exciting new opportunity for buyers of high-end design resources," said Phil Robinson, senior vice president, George Little Management. "The event's close proximity to ICFF will lend itself to convenience and will create a more dynamic marketplace."

IINY will feature 200 exhibitors of furniture, home decor, arts & crafts masterpieces and rare objects, tableware, fabrics, seating, lighting, carpet and flooring, wall coverings, accessories, kitchen & bath and outdoor furniture for residential and commercial interiors. The show caters to the needs of interior designers, architects, facility managers, wholesalers, store designers and home furnishings retailers and buyers.

ICFF will feature more than 500 exhibitors of contemporary furniture, seating, lighting, carpet and flooring, wall coverings, textiles, accessories, kitchen and bath, outdoor furniture, and materials for residential and commercial interiors. For additional information, visit www.icff.com.

International Interiors New York is produced by George Little Management and Reed Exhibitions; media sponsors are Interior Design, Furniture/Today, Home Accents Today and Home Textiles Today magazines.
