Gardner Glass Products reorganized its wall decor division at the end of 2005 and closed the Carolina Mirror plant it leased after acquiring the brand name and assets in 2002.
"We have consolidated our wall decor division into Gardner Glass-owned facilities," said Randy Brooks, chief operating officer and executive vice president. "When we took over the lease, we had every intention of making it a short-term situation or we would have purchased the building."
Production of mirrors and other wall decor will continue at Gardner Glass's six plants, located in North Wilkesboro, N.C., Springfield, Va., Huntsville, Texas, Phoenix, Denver and Indianapolis.
