Angela Adams debuts bedding at Marshall Field's

Staff -- Home Accents Today, 2/1/2006

Designer Angela Adams launches her exclusive bedding collection at 25 Marshall Field's stores this month. The line features duvet covers in Adams' signature patterns, Lulu, Adriana, Baba and Islands with coordinating sheets, coverlets, shams and decorative pillows.

Lulu features chocolate, tan and cream free-form circles and ovals on a blue background; Adriana has a putty background with a white, abstract floral print and hints of brown, green and yellow on accessory pillows; Baba has abstract wave forms on a neutral background and Islands features circles and waves on a soft plum background. Retail price points are $190 to $200 duvets, $155 coverlets, $125 to $175 sheets, $65 to $75 shams and $45 to $65 decorative pillows.

"Since starting this business, I have always wanted to design bed and bath products," Adams said. "The talent and experience at London Fog/Homestead has been the ideal partnership for us. We have worked closely with them from start to finish on this program and we are thrilled with the results."

This launch expands Adams' current offering of rugs, furniture, tiles, fabrics, glassware, stationery and handbags. The collection is from London Fog Group's Homestead Division and will also be available online at Marshall Field's starting in March.

"Angela Adams is one of the most talented designers working in the home arena today, providing a refreshing perspective to an industry mainstreamed by ubiquitous trends," said David Greenstein, CEO, London Fog Group. "Her collection offers accessibility to a look that is distinctly modern yet timeless."

The Angela Adams bedding line joins Marshall Field's Update Bedding collection, which includes Calvin Klein, DKNY and Thomas O'Brien.
