Enesco Group reached a settlement agreement with Department 56 at the end of February to resolve its litigation related to exclusivity of Jim Shore Designs.
As part of the agreement, Enesco and Department 56 fully waived and released each other from any losses, claims, damages and expenses related to the lawsuit, filed in July 2005. The settlement between the two vendors does not resolve Enesco's ongoing lawsuit against Kevin Knowles and/or Sunshine Productions, according to Enesco's Feb. 28 announcement.
Enesco had ended its breach of contract lawsuit against Jim Shore Designs and renewed its relationship with the designer by the end of January.
