Capel expanded its line with a new co-brand partnership with Country Living magazine for the recent High Point market.
"Our co-brand partners look to Capel because we are unmatched in our creative, marketing and sourcing capabilities," said Eric Birnbach, president and CEO of the company. "Capel's design team leads the industry."
Capel's Country Living launch included two core collections.
Inspired by the pages of the magazine, Capel Rugs debuts the Antique Florals loop hooked collection and Mosaic indoor/outdoor braided rug collection for the Country Living line.
With 19th-century American hooked rug designs, Antique Florals is composed of 100% wool and utilizes the centuries-old technique of heavy hand-hooking. The initial rug collection features seven colorways with individual looks in cream, ivory, mahogany, maize, melon, oatmeal and pewter. A 5×8 retails for $399.
All-weather Mosaic spruces up indoor or outdoor rooms with a graphic patchwork stepping-stone pattern available in dark black, brown, hunter green, teal, terra cotta and yellow. The polypropylene rug is fade, mildew and mold resistant. The reversible rug cleans with a garden hose and can drip dry. A 5×8 retails at $299.
Capel put the spotlight on color during market with a visual presentation of the company's new color and trend report. The report, now available in a monthly e-mail newsletter, features an in-depth look at leading styles, trendy materials and patterns, and the hottest color palettes as forecasted by Lou Webster, Capel Rugs director of product development.
Capel's other licensed collections include Sunbrella, Bob Timberlake, Williamsburg and Biltmore Estate For Your Home.
The Antique Florals rug is shown in melon.
