Decorize to produce licensed line with Jamie Drake: Glamour Home

Decorize has signed a letter of intent with Jamie Drake: Glamour Home, a New York-based company founded by designer Jamie Drake, to produce a licensed home collection.

Drake is known for his bold, polished designs that have been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor and House Beautiful. Drake is a member of the Interior Design Hall of Fame, and his clients include Madonna and Michael Bloomberg.

The marriage of Decorize and Jamie Drake: Glamour Home is intended to leverage the strengths of Decorize's manufacturing and distribution model with Drake's design capability to create a distinctive home decor brand in the luxury market.

"Decorize has positioned itself as a innovative design company focused on the mid- to high-end consumer," said Steve Crowder, president and chief executive officer of Decorize. "The partnership with Jamie Drake will broaden our design capability and customer base."

The collection will be offered to national retailers. Fashion industry veterans Henry and Barbara Bolan are the co-founders of Jamie Drake: Glamour Home. Their company, The Bolan Group Ltd., specializes in product development, design and project management for luxury manufacturers and retailers.
