Richard Gold, founder of Aldik Artificial Flowers, died in May at the age of 86.
"His countless contributions and valuable impact as Aldik's founder will never be forgotten, nor will he," says Larry Gold, Richard's son and Aldik president and CEO. "I know I join all those who knew him in celebrating his life not only as Aldik's founder but as my own role model and loving father."
Richard Gold built Aldik into a leader in the artificial floral and home decor industry.
"While it's true Aldik grew with the artificial floral industry, it may be more accurate to say the industry grew with Aldik and Richard Gold," said Steve Jarvi, Aldik COO.
Richard Gold is survived by his wife Marjorie, son Larry and his wife Cathy, and their three children.
