Liora Manné, a leader in the textile industry known for blending art and technology to create original designs for floor coverings, fashion accessories and home furnishings, is adding a new rug collection called Dimensions to her brand. The collection uses computerized waterjets to cut designs into the designer's signature fabrics.
Dimensions rugs are available in three patterns — the Kuba, the Wave and the Scallop. The Kuba is circular with the delicate look of a crocheted doily. The Wave is reminiscent of the ocean's perpetual currents and the Scallop has a rectangular design. The colors in the collection range from brilliant reds and greens to neutral tones of buff and gray.
"The Dimension collection combines traditional motifs and modern technology," Manné said. "These floor coverings make a quiet, yet powerful statement."
She said Dimensions is a simpler, more versatile collection compared to some of the high-impact textile designs featured in her original Lamontage rugs.
