OneCoast to open new showroom in New York
Staff -- Home Accents Today, 8/1/2005
National sales representative agency OneCoast will launch its new home showroom in the Chelsea High Line area of New York Aug. 13–18 during the New York International Gift Fair. OneCoast Northeast Home will mark the launch with new line introductions, two retailer seminars and parties.
The OneCoast Northeast Home showroom (548 West 28th Street, 3rd floor) is located in a former print factory which was built in 1873 and recently renovated. The showroom is located several blocks south of the Jacob Javits Convention Center. OneCoast will run van service between the showroom and The Piers as part of the Gift Fair's transportation service.
OneCoast Northeast, formerly Remington Freeman, represents many top lines in the home industry including Feizy, Global Views, Palecek, SIA and The Phillips Collection. In addition, OneCoast has brought in lines specifically for designers, including Mario & Marielena (textiles, trims and workroom) and Red Egg (furniture); neither line was previously available to the designer trade in New York.
"We have developed this showroom to be unique in our industry," said Ted Teele, CEO of OneCoast. "In addition to being a resource to our large wholesale buying community, this showroom is largely targeted to interior designers, architects and contract buyers who are such an important group in New York. The showroom is aiming to encourage buyers and designers to easily 'design their desired lifestyle' as these groups can readily shop a wide set of cross-merchandised products in a relaxing atmosphere."
OneCoast will continue to present a large number of its lines at the New York International Gift Fair at both the Jacob Javits Center and The Piers.
