Emess names Giron EVP of sales

Lighting supplier Emess Design Group has named Richard Giron executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Giron is a 24-year veteran of the decorative home accessory industry. Prior to joining Emess Design Group, he was vice president of sales and marketing for DA Direct, and previously he was with Gorham & Dansk as well as Fetco International.

Giron reports directly to Michael Dene, chairman of the board and chief executive officer.

"Richard has many years of experience in product development, supply chain and sourcing throughout many countries in the Far East," Dene said. "His pulse on trends in the home fashion arena, as well as his strong retail partnerships, is paramount in the global understanding and vision he brings to our company."

Lisa Iadicicco, vice president of sales, and Matt Caiazza, vice president of marketing, both report to Giron.
