ART chooses Judy George for award

The Accessories Resource Team and Dallas Market Center have announced that Judy George, founder of Domain Home Fashions and chief executive officer of Aga Home Group, will receive the Academy of Achievement Award at the 18th Annual ARTS Awards.

The Academy of Achievement Award is awarded to the man or woman who has made important contributions to the decorative accessories industry. The award, along with more than 20 category winners, is presented at a gala event each January during the Dallas International Gift and Home Accessories Market. This year's gala will take place Saturday, Jan. 20, in the new special events space in the Trade Mart atrium.

Starting with a dream, Judy has built Domain Home Fashions into a top specialty home furnishings chain and continues to conquer new arenas as the leader of the Aga Home Group," said Bill Winsor, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center.
