OneCoast adds New Creative, C.R. Gibson to national service

Staff -- Home Accents Today, 11/1/2006

National sales and marketing agency OneCoast will add New Creative Enterprises and C.R. Gibson to the launch of its national sales and marketing service, National Division One on Dec. 1.

The entire NCE field sales team will become employees of OneCoast, representing all of the product lines in ND One.

"We view New Creative's decision to combine its talented field sales team with OneCoast as a very good sign for the future of sales rep firms," Ted Teele, CEO of OneCoast. "We think more firms like New Creative who employ their own sales teams will consider moving this function to a national sales team with a focused number of lines."

OneCoast will be the first and only multi-line sales agency to offer national service for the gift and home decor industries. Mud Pie and Woodstock Chimes have already announced their intent to sell their products nationally via ND One. In total, ND One will include five sales managers, 96 field sales people, five telesales people and a product training specialist.

"Our strength has always been in the design and delivery of products that wow retailers and consumers," said Tom Bowles, CEO of Decorative Concepts Inc, parent company of New Creative. "We view OneCoast as the leader in the sales and marketing in our industry, so it is natural that we work with them. This partnership will allow us to focus our talent and resources on creating top-selling products."

"This new partnership with OneCoast will enhance our selling efforts by doubling the number of sales people carrying our lines and by leveraging OneCoast's core competencies of training, sales management processes and integrated marketing to better service our customer's needs. It will allow us to more effectively focus our talent and resources on creating top selling products," said Benno Duenkelsbuehler, president of New Creative.

OneCoast continues to work with vendors on a regional basis and will continue to invest in this regional representation model. OneCoast expects to implement many of the initiatives from the national service to the regional model.
