Jane Seymour Home Collection makes debut

Last month's launch of the Jane Seymour Home Collection introduced buyers to more than 750 SKUs of bedding, lamps, pillows and accessories, themed under four design categories reflecting ideas and inspirations from the actress's homes, art and family-centered lifestyle.
The collection was produced by The Sommerset Group, Seymour's new Birmingham, Ala.-based home furnishings and accessories company, with vendor partners American Mills, Vintage Verandah and MGR Designs.
The Atlanta debut was Seymour's first product presentation at a U.S. market. "This is absolutely brand new and completely different from anything I've done before," Seymour said. It also marks the beginning of a multichannel marketing strategy that takes the Jane Seymour Home Collection to Amazon and Great Indoors stores beginning this month.
Seymour started The Sommerset Group in 2006 with her husband, actor/director, James Keach, and former Saks executives, Howard Winkler and Todd Lamerton, who were key to the success of Saks Inc.'s Jane Seymour Collection before the company's restructuring and sale of the Saks Department Store Group in 2006.
All of the products retail between $50 and $500.
