KAS Rugs promotes two execs

KAS Rugs has made two executive level promotions.

Don Newton has been named the new vice president of sales and marketing. He will focus on marketing to national retail accounts. Newton has been in the carpet industry for 27 years and previously worked as VP of sales at Orion and Milliken. He reports to Rao Yarlagadda, president.

Brandon Culpepper has been appointed national sales manager. He will manage all regional managers and independent sales agents and reports to Newton. Culpepper was previously a regional manager for the Southeast and West at Dalyn Rugs.

"I welcome Don and Brandon to KAS," Yarlagadda said. "Both will bring great opportunities for KAS to expand the distribution and take KAS to the next level of business."
