The Young Home Furnishings Professionals, an organization dedicated to
attracting young people to the home furnishings industry and keeping talented
young professionals in the industry, has become a division of the American Home
Furnishings Alliance.
The annual membership fee for this network of industry professionals
under age 40 will remain $50 a year for qualified individuals from non-AHFA
member companies. Qualified employees at AHFA member companies will enjoy YHFP
membership as an added benefit of their company's AHFA membership.
All YHFP members will receive access to selected, members-only areas of
the AHFA Web site,
www.ahfa.us. Additional benefits of YHFP
membership include member pricing on all AHFA meetings and events, YHFP
networking events at select AHFA meetings, subscription to a new YHFP
membership newsletter and access to career resources on the new YHFP Web
site.
