Stein Mart debuts new magazine, merchandise for Nina Campbell Collection

The newest additions to the Nina: Nina Campbell Collection for Stein Mart arrived in stores in late February and will be promoted with store appearances by Campbell beginning in mid-March. "The New Opulence" debuted along with Campbell's new magazine, Nina, which features 72 full-colored pages of decorating tips, photographs, sketches and products, and retails for $4.99 exclusively at Stein Mart.

The partnership between Stein Mart and Campbell that began in fall 2006 has been a hit with customers according to store officials. "We are very pleased with our partnership with Nina Campbell," said Kathy Schwartz Lussier, a spokeswoman for Stein Mart. "Nina Campbell's design style is a perfect match for Stein Mart customers who want unique items for their homes that reflect their discerning taste. Nina's combination of stylish design and practicality appeal to the Stein Mart customers who seek a designer's touch at a price they can feel good about."

According to Campbell, "The New Opulence" is light and bright, using practical applications of luxurious fabrics such as velvet, taffeta and linen, colored in jewel tones of pink sapphire, aquamarine and yellow diamond. "The very thought of opulence is appealing," she said. "Such a telling combination of luxury and comfort has always been an important aspect of interior decoration and design."

Throughout spring and summer, Stein Mart will carry several new ensembles from Nina Campbell's bed and bath collection, her new contemporary pierced creamware collection and table linens in garnet, sage and beige. Decorative pieces inspired by nature, antique-styled birdcages, petaled bowls and diffusers are also new to the collection.

"I want to instill the joy of decorating, not make people afraid of it," Campbell said. "Detail and quality have become increasingly important, not just to those lucky enough to have big budgets, but to everybody who is passionate about how their home looks.
