George Little Management has made a series of staff changes for its semi-annual New York International Gift Fair.
Melissa Engongoro has been promoted to divisional manager of New York's Newest, the launching pad for companies new to the show.
In addition, GLM also has increased the frequency of this division to twice a year. Each edition of New York's Newest will now feature 100 companies, showcasing products across the gift and home spectrum at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
Engongoro also will continue to serve as sales coordinator of Accent on Design division for both the New York and San Francisco International gift fairs.
Angenette Lynch has extended her management responsibilities to now serve as At Home manager. At Home features about 470 exhibiting companies presenting a range of home products.
GLM recently announced the integration of the New York Home Textiles Show into At Home at the Javits Center increasing the high-end home textiles available at the show. Lynch also continues in her role as Pier manager, with responsibility for oversight of Floral & Garden Accessories featuring Outdoor Living and New & Distinctive Resources.
Priscila Onou's responsibilities have been expanded to include serving as divisional manager of Personal Accessories including Details. The division showcases 200 suppliers of jewelry, fashion accessories and personal care items. Onou also will continue to serve as divisional manager of Accent on Design.
Engongoro and Onou report directly to Deborah Hilfman, manager of the New York International Gift Fair, for their responsibilities related to that event. Lynch reports to Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF show director.
"These changes allow us to maximize the talents of our staff in order to create the most efficient and effective marketplace for gift and home industry suppliers," Belshaw said.
