Sea Gull Lighting names Thomas new VP of product design

Sea Gull Lighting Products named Carter Thomas as vice president, product design. Thomas is responsible for overseeing the company's product design teams as well as influencing design strategies.

Most recently, Thomas was director of design at O'Sullivan Industries, a ready-to-assemble furniture Maker. Prior to O'Sullivan, Thomas worked with Procter & Gamble and Kohler.

"Carter is regarded as a unique and valuable asset to the Sea Gull Lighting team; bringing with him a formula that blends creativity and strategy; qualities that are extremely important to Sea Gull Lighting in an ever changing, more demanding marketplace," said Michael Hirsch, executive vice president.
