Sears' Simply Indoors catalog, second edition, features more furniture, styles

By Susan Dickenson -- Home Accents Today, 6/1/2007

The newest edition of Sears' Simply Indoors catalog began reaching consumer mailboxes last month, marking the retailer's second multi-channeled presentation of its traditional, contemporary and transitional "Simple beauty within reach" lifestyle collections.

In this second edition, a continuance of the updated home fashions presentation Sears debuted last fall, Simply Indoors' style coverage expands to include Southwest, Queen Anne, French, Tuscan, Farmhouse and more retro-contemporary choices. Seven sets of dining room furniture and 12 pages of youth bedroom furniture and accessories are shown along with an expanded selection of lighting, rugs, bath furniture and accessories, metal sculptures and wall art.

About half of the products, which also include lamps, tableware, soft goods, ceiling fans and kitchen accessories, are available only through the catalog or Internet orders.

Accessories include such variations as a $14.99 silver lily pot, a $49.99 curvy metal sculpture, retro mirrored and dramatic sunburst wall art ($79.99 and $49.99), florals and succulents ($9.99–$24.99), and a series of yacht prints by David Brown ($119.99 for set of three).

Four bedroom furniture collections, including Fuji from Sears brand Ty Pennington Style, are topped with ensembles by Whole Home, Everyday Luxe and Laura Ashley.

Also shown are 10 pages of kitchen accessories and cookware from Kenmore, Rachel Ray and KitchenAid.

The virtual version of the 76-page catalog is available at www.sears.com/simplyindoors.
