World Market Center hires Dallas veteran Davis

Staff -- Home Accents Today, 6/1/2007

The World Market Center here has hired Georgia Davis, formerly executive vice president of the Dallas Market Center, as head of new business development.

She has worked in the industry for 21 years, and will use her experience and relationships to create and expand business initiatives and partnerships for the WMC. At Dallas, she was responsible for permanent showroom leasing, temporary shows and new business development.

"Georgia has a great deal of knowledge in the home furnishings industry and she is a welcome addition to our team's efforts in creating new business initiatives, projects and partnerships that will develop and bring more industries to World Market Center," said Harvey Dondero, CEO at WMC.
