NFBA names Parks to board of directors

Staff -- Home Accents Today, 6/1/2007

Kathy Parks, executive director of the International Home Furnishings Representatives Association, has been appointed to the National Furniture Bank Association board of directors.

Parks has served on the NFBA advisory board for 18 months, and served as the chairwoman of the NFBA's Sponsorship Subcommittee, charged with increasing industry support of the organization.

She joins other leaders from the home furnishings industry on the board of NFBA, which collects used home furnishings from the public and donates them to needy families.
